Rocky Creek Dog Agility and The Clever Hound are teaming up to have a Scent Work Seminar to be held at Rocky Creek Dog Agility, 110 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, PA.
The working seminar will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 starting at 9 am. (Morning session: 9am to noon. Afternoon session 1pm to 4pm) We will order lunch, or you can bring a lunch. Refrigerators and microwaves will be available.
This seminar is for dogs who have already started training in scent work and are familiar with Birch, Anise and Clove. We will be offering a more in-depth study of the following topics than you might get in your regular class:
Distractors
Keeping a dog at source
Training a final response
Elevation
Inaccessible hides verses difficult to access hides Differences between C-WAGS, CPE and AKC
Cost is $100 per dog/handler team. We will only offer auditing spots if all the working spots fill.
